The Circus

The Circus has come to town. Ravi and Rani went to see afternoon  show with their parents.

Their father bought the tickets at the gate. They went inside the arena and sat in the row.

First, the clown came with a one-wheeled cycle. He rode on it and went round the ring. Ravi and Rani were pleased with the show.

Then the elephants came. They saluted the audience and danced inside the ring.

After the elephants came. They stood on stools. Rani was frightened when the ringmaster put his head inside the mouth of a lion.

The tiger-show was very good. Ravi was astonished to see a tiger jumping a fire-ring.

The monkeys, bears and horses also showed their skills in the ring. A chimpanzee dressed in pants, coat everyone.
Ravi and Rani came back home happily after the show was over.
